HYPERCON MATERIALS

Stone and Earth

The main mineral raw materials used in the building industry are stone and earth. The range of applications is vast and extends from gravel for roads to the production of building materials such as bricks and patio slabs.

HYPERCON analyses the properties of existing raw materials and creates concepts to use them efficiently.

The materials used include sand and gravel, crushed natural stone, limestone, marl and dolomite, clay and loam, gypsum and anhydrite, unconsolidated volcanic rocks, natural stone and coloured earth.

In addition to waste materials and unused stockpiled materials from the production of primary raw materials, a higher-value use of secondary raw materials is also a key component of HYPERCON projects. HYPERCON applications utilise future-oriented models to bolster the regional supply of raw materials for companies and building projects.

Our goal is to develop resource-efficient applications that enable the use of residual materials and materials that have already been dumped in landfills.

We focus on optimising the use of bulk raw materials.

In the field of industrial minerals, we focus on non-metallic, mineral raw materials. We create new applications and utilisation concepts for the building materials industry and, together with raw material partners, ensure the availability of the materials required for the production of high-quality products.

HYPERCON is exploring new areas of application for quartz, quartz sand and quartz gravel, adhesive sands, kaolin, bentonite, silica, fluorspar and barite, feldspar, pegmatite sand.

In addition to waste materials and unused stockpiled materials from the production of primary raw materials, higher-value use of secondary raw materials is also a key component of HYPERCON projects. HYPERCON applications utilise future-oriented models to bolster the regional supply of raw materials for companies and building projects.

HYPERCON solutions promote upcycling and greater resource efficiency in order to conserve regional deposits.

Limestone – a basis for HYPERCON raw materials

In many applications, sand-lime brick has played an important role as a raw material for a long time. In today's home design, natural stones such as limestones are very popular again.
